　　About IELTS
　　The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as a language of communication. IELTS is jointly owned by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment.

　　The IELTS General Training test is for those who are going to English speaking countries for secondary education, work experience or training programs. It is also a requirement for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. The test focuses on basic survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts.

Tests registration, customer services, test centres set up and management are managed by National Educational Examinations Authority. As the proud co-owner of IELTS, the British Council is responsible for the management of material preparation, exam invigilation and marking. 　　To successfully register the IELTS, you must complete all of the steps in sequence online through NEEA IELTS online registration website http://ielts.neea.cn  or   http://ielts.neea.cn.

　　3. select a seat
　　4. complete the application form and confirm payment

　　Test report form
　　The TRF is the standard proof of candidate's English proficiency, which shows candidate's scores for all four skill areas: listening, reading, writing and speaking, and the overall band score. The test result is valid for 2 years from the test date.
　　Candidates who completed all the modules of the written and speaking tests and had their photograph taken on the test day successfully are eligible to receive their test report form (TRFs).
　　Candidates can check their test results and EMS tracking number online by visiting their homepage on the NEEA IELTS online registration website, usually on the 10th working day after the written test date. The website information is for reference only and the test result is based only on the TRF. The British Council will send you the TRFs by EMS. Each candidate will receive only one copy of the TRF. You may also pay for extra test report form (Extra TRFs) sending service online if needed.
