中国诚通国际贸易有限公司（以下简称“诚通国贸”或者“公司”）是中央企业国有资本运营公司——中国诚通控股集团有限公司在中央全面深化改革的大背景下，以“服务国家战略、赋能实体经济、创造社会价值”为企业使命，于2013年9月在浙江杭州西子湖畔组建成立的大宗商品供应链服务企业，2022年11月被授予浙江省重点进口平台，2023年6月被认定为杭州市总部企业。
China Chengtong International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chengtong International" or "the Company") is a commodity supply chain service enterprise established by a state-owned capital operating company of the central enterprise - China Chengtong Holding Group Co., Ltd., against the background of the central comprehensively deepening of reforms, with the corporate mission of "serving the national strategy, empowering the economy, and creating social value" in September 2013 by the West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The Company was awarded the key import platform of Zhejiang Province in November 2022 and was identified as one of the Hangzhou headquarters enterprises in June 2023.
The Company has a registered capital of 200 million Chinese Yuan, mainly engages in both domestic and foreign trade of bulk commodities such as steel, pig iron, iron ore, coal, chemical materials, non-ferrous metals, natural gas, agricultural products, High-end health care products, provides efficient integrated services such as raw material procurement, finished product distribution, import and export agency, distribution and delivery for customers and industrial clusters upstream and downstream of the supply chain. It has 6 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 4 holding (participating) companies in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhoushan, Chengdu and Hong Kong, with a total of 240 employees.
Since its establishment, the Company has adhered to the core values of "honesty based, connect to the world", practiced the business philosophy of "be practical, be honest, be simple and be responsible", carried forward the spirit of "dare to bear a heavy load and gnaw hard bones", and adhered to the work policy of "gathering talents, promoting reform, emphasizing execution, increasing efficiency and effectiveness, optimizing management, controlling risks, strengthening party building, and enhancing corporate culture." The Company has closely focused on national strategic planning, actively responded to the "Belt and Road" initiative, integrated into the new development pattern of "dual circulation," served the "dual carbon" goals and China's modernization construction, helped to ensure the security and stability of industrial supply chains, created extensive opportunities for industry partners, and achieved synergistic development with upstream and downstream partners. The Company has conducted trade exchanges with more than 60 countries and regions, including over 30 countries along the "Belt and Road," participated in the China International Import Expo for five consecutive years, signed contracts worth up to 4 billion US dollars, ranking at the forefront among the central enterprises. In addition, the Company has unique advantages in specific varieties and subdivided markets, and ranks steadily among the top ten importers of chromium and nickel ores in China. In 2022, the Company's import volume of steel billets accounted for about 10% of the total national import volume.
Looking ahead, Chengtong International will continue to adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, seize the opportunity of building a key import and supply chain platform in Zhejiang Province, actively fulfill the national mission of a central enterprise, and play a leading role in the circulation channel by integrating into the new development pattern of "dual circulation" and supporting China's modernization construction.
